Appalachian Ski Mountain Shred For the Cup Rail Jam Results
Dozens of spectators lined Appalachian Ski Mountain’s slopes last Sunday, February 28, to witness the Shred for the Cup Rail Jam, which played out on multiple custom-built features crafted by the Appalachian Terrain Park crew. USASA Halfpipe National Champion Meg Pugh hung out at Appalachian Ski Mountain last weekend to lend a hand with the Ladies’ Park Night and the Shred for the Cup Rail Jam. Pugh has traveled throughout the United States and other countries, winning and placing in competitions, competing in the X Games, founding a resort snowboard team, coaching summer camps and designing and producing professional products for the sport. National snowboarding competitor and coach Meg Pugh joined the Appalachian Terrain Park crew last Sunday, February 28, for the Shred for the Cup Rail Jam at Appalachian Ski Mountain.
Dozens of competitors representing all ages and skill levels hit custom features made especially for the event, while DJs spun soundtracks in the background and hosted raffles for door prizes.
Pugh, a USASA Halfpipe National Champion, provided insight on snowboarding to both male and female competitors, while helping to judge the competition.
The final event in the 4th annual Shred for the Cup Series, the Slopestyle Finals, will take place on Saturday, March 20. For more info, click to www.appterrainpark.com.
