Harlem Globetrotters Brings World Tour to ASU March 16
The Harlem Globetrotters will bring high-flying, basketball-based family entertainment to ASU’s Holmes Convocation Center on Tuesday, March 16.
Coming off the most successful year in the franchise’s illustrious history, entertaining more than two million fans and setting a record-breaking 62 box office records, the iconic Harlem Globetrotters brings its 2010 “Magical Memories” World Tourto Boone on Tuesday, March 16. The performance begins at 7:00 p.m. at ASU’s Holmes Convocation Center, and tickets start at $16.
The show features extraordinary athletes and entertainers that include Big Easy Lofton and Flight Time Lang, stars of this past season’s edition of the Emmy Award-winning CBS reality hit, “The Amazing Race,” ball-handling wizard Handles Franklin, the gravity-defying Hi Rise Brown and more, according to a press release.

Sports Illustrated praised the Globetrotters’ performance as “the sports equivalent of comfort food” in its March 2009 feature article, “Still Crazy After All These Years.”
Since its formation in 1926, the team has played in 120 countries on six continents, entertaining more than 130 million fans. The team is one of only six teams to be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
