Chetola Resort Hosts High Country Wedding Expo March 28
If you’re in the process of planning a wedding, be sure to save the date for Sunday, March 28, so you can attend the High Country Wedding Expo at Chetola Resort in Blowing Rock.
The expo, beginning at 1:00 and lasting until 4:00 p.m., will introduce guests to 50 different vendors showcasing products that will help make wedding day festivities special.
The High Country Wedding Expo has been previously held at The Green Park Inn in Blowing Rock, making this the first year Chetola Resort will act as host.
“I think we’ll have a really good turnout; we’ve been advertising and encourage people to come and see what’s available,” said Jessica Clearwater, wedding and special event coordinator at Chetola Resort.
To attend this event, guests are asked to donate five dry goods or toiletry items for the Hospitality House of Boone or pay a $5 entry fee. Guests can also register online by clicking to www.chetola.com.
A few vendors at the expo include The Knot magazine, Westglow Resort and Spa, Bless Your Heart Flowers and Hallmark. Many different photographers, DJs and wedding coordinators will also be showcased.
“There will be a fashion show taking place during the expo, as well as a table set up for the Hospitality House where brides can drop off their donated dry foods and toiletry items,” said Jennifer Williams, business director of The Westglow Resort and Spa.
“Vendors and caterers at the event will provide food samples and The Pub will be open from noon to 5:00 p.m. serving food and beverages,” said Clearwater.
The event will take place in three different rooms at the resort. There will be security guards available to direct guests to the Wedding Expo area.
