Fine Art & Craft Show at Valle Crucis Elementary Saturday and Sunday
Mountain Top Promotions and its owner Pat Fay will present a Fine Art and Craft Summer Awards Show this Saturday and Sunday, July 31 and August 1, in the parking lot of Valle Crucis Elementary school, located next to Mast General Store at 2998 Broadstone Road in Valle Crucis.
The show features free admission and will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
“I’m bringing in the best of the best of artists and crafters to try their hands at winning cash awards and ribbons in this weekend’s show,” said Fay, who has been hosting fine art and craft shows in the region for more than five years. Fay also owns and operates Mountain Top Jewelry, which will be featured at the show and displaying pendants, long necklaces with beads, antique jewelry and 14-karat and 24-karat gold and sterling silver pieces of all shapes and sizes.
Joining Mountain Top Jewelry will be fine crafters from all over the United States, from Florida to New York to California. Unique finds at this weekend’s show include woodwork, jewelry, watercolors, oil paintings, books, wind chimes, clothing, homemade sauces, handmade furniture, pottery, metalwork, lampshades and lamps, glasswork, chainsaw bears, garden items and hand-carved boats.
